Vintage Silver Moving Cart Charm
This is an interesting little vintage silver charm, designed as a small cart or buggy with moving wheels. It’s a classic example of the kind of mechanical, interactive charms that were popular in the mid-20th century.
The main feature is its set of wheels, which were originally designed to spin. As a vintage piece that has clearly been on a journey, the little wheels are now a bit misaligned and don’t turn as freely as they once did. They still have some movement to them, which has become part of its aged character.
It’s a detailed little miniature for its size, and it’s made from silver, which we have confirmed with an acid test. Charms with moving parts were always a bit more special and are fun to find. It’s a characterful little charm with a history you can see in its gentle wear.
